When I disconnect from my computer (log out from Desktop Connect), I can no longer use the mouse or keyboard. The mouse moves around but clicks don't work. Neither does the keyboard. I have to connect back in (which works) and reboot the computer. 8-Core 3GHz, 16G RAM, 10.6.5.

Same problem here. Each time I use Desktop Connect, my Magic Trackpad can move, but not click and my keyboard (USB connected) will not function. I'm using OX X 10.6.6 on an iMac 8,1 Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.66 GHz
Hello, anybody alive in this place? You were pretty quick in accepting money without a way to test the software first, now I have something paid for and useless... Customer support goes a long way in maintaining people's confidence.
The problem seems related to some key/mouse state left toggled in the wrong way. It's 100% consistent. Connect once and the keyboard and mouse stop working...
I just picked up IPAD2 and the same thing! I can see my desktop but can't do anything!. Real pretty but useless! I'll go find an App that works! Shouldn't Apple better monitor quality before allowing people to access an App that doesn't work?!
Yep, same problem here -- ipad 2 with new imac.
I don't think anyone is listening. I get no response from support requests or forum posts. It's a shame that there are so many app vendors out there that release sub-par products and then have no capacity (or willingness?) to support their products.
Hi,
Our team is unable to reproduce this issue in Desktop Connect application. Can you please provide us some more details ( like which applications are you running on your Mac computer, some details of system preferences of your computer like whether "Bluetooth sharing is ON or OFF, Remote Apple Events is ON or OFF etc, which mouse you are using on your Mac computer etc )
Our team is completely unable to reproduce this issue in our system. To investigate on this issue we need to reproduce it so please give us some more details which will help us to reproduce it.
I have used the suggested "solution", put my MacOSname and my MacOSpassword, but still I get to my log in page and cannot type in my password. When I type, it appears in the black area in the upper left hand corner but does not transfer into the password bo on my log in page. How do I sign into my Mac once you've got me there? Again, your official suggestion has NOT worked. PLUS, if I do that SSH or whatever thing, I can't connect at all.
