Cannot access windows 7 machine files from iPad

hi, I am unable to connect to the win7 machine over my home network. It is detecting the machine on the network. However when I try to login with my username and password it is saying access denied. M

Same exact problem for me.  I found something on the Microsoft site that says you have to use some additional software to use Easy connect with Windows 7 Home addition?  Is that correct?
