I recently upgraded to Easy Connect v. 2.1; however, whenever I have Easy Connect open, my computer fails to enter display sleep mode automatically. When I completely exit from Easy Connect, the computer enters sleep mode normally. Has anyone experienced the same issue?

Same problem here; even if you use a hot corner to force it to sleep the display (just the display not the computer) it will wake back up within a few seconds. This really need to be fixed. Is there any way to downgrade Easy Connect?
Hello,
Our team has filed a bug related to this issue in our bug tracking system. Our development team will look at it.
Same issue here. I can't use the product with this issue. I can't have my screen on 24/7.
Yep, I'm having the same issue. Mac OS 10.7.2 and latest version of easy connect.
I also have this issue. Appeared with latest version of EasyConnect. Problem was on 10.7.1 and 10.7.2.
Workaround is to manually turn backlight off using the brightness keys -- but that is very annoying.
I have this issue too, a quick fix would be very much appreciated since this prevents me from using this very nice product ! Awaiting the fix, can you please answer the second part of the first question, Is there any way to downgrade Easy Connect?
Is there any update on this? I paid 14.95 for this app on my iPad, and this portion of the software is preventing me from using it.
I'm having the same issue. Here's the relevant support document from Apple: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3191631?start=0&tstart=0
When I ran the Terminal app, this is what I got:
Index Refs Address Size Wired Name (Version) <Linked Against>
97 0 0xffffff7f8209a000 0x5000 0x5000 com.antecea.driver.AnteceaAudioDrv (1.0.0) <96 5 4 3>
Antecea is Desktop Connect, which is what brought me here. Is there a fix for this? I also bought this app and paid for it, and find it very useful, but I don't want to be wasting power to do so. Help!
any follow up from antecea on this issue. it is still very annoying and still no fix as far as I know ?
It appears the latest update (ver 4.4) allows you to disable/remove/unload the audio driver. Initial testing looks as though it solves the problem. How about for you guys?
Mac OSX 10.7.2
EasyConnect 4.4
i unloaded the audio driver but still it doesnt work for me on os lion...
Doesnt work here either. Is anyone from Antecea monitoring this thread? This is a significant fault with your program, please advise of a workaround or roadmap to resolve.
Fix this please, its very annoying :<
4 months and no fix??? They are too busy selling $0.99 to the masses with their ninja app. Nice!
Antecea development team has fixed this issue for the next upcoming version 4.5 of Easy Connect application for Mac OS X Lion computers.
To all Easy Connect ( OS X version ) users,
Please upgrade to the latest available version 4.8 of Easy Connect application on your Mac computers.
